Early and later generation Savannah Cats and Savannah Kittens available from Teardrops in the UKWelcome to the website of Teardrops Savannahs. We are located in the south of the UK in a village between Poole and Wimborne in Dorset, England. We are near the counties of Wiltshire and Hampshire and near the beautiul New Forest. We are a UK cat breeder specialising in exotic cat hybrids, namely the Savannah and Bengal. These are the descendants of wildcats crossed with a domestic cat. We breed for beauty, health and temperament. All of our kittens are fully socialised with other cats and human beings and come to you as a purry bundle of love. Our passions lie in bringing early generation Savannahs to the UK. As well as producing early generation Savannahs, we are also able to produce the more exotic coloured Savannahs. As well as the brown spotted and marbled Savannah we can also produce silver, smoke, charcoal and black (melanistic) Savannahs. We have Savannahs of all generations from F2 through to F7 Savannahs. The lower the filial number (the number after the F), the more closely related to the African Serval they are. For example, our Savannah girl Zema is an F2. This means that her Grandfather, her mother's father, was an African Serval. We are very proud of the fact that we are known for our socialisation skills with hybrids. All of our kittens leave home friendly, happy and good natured. We have a testimonials page in its infancy on this site. Please visit to find out what people are saying about our cats. We raise our cats underfoot and with lots of love! Latest News At Teardrops We have had a litter of F3 Savannah kittens born here. Keep visiting for more details. Teardrops Maliboo
We have had our first white Savannah born here at Teardrops. In the wild, the white Serval exists thanks to the albino gene. Savannah breeders have mimiced the white Serval colouring by introducing the silver gene to the gene pool. They are born without spots - the spots appear later. This little guy (Maliboo) should have blue eyes and is pictured at just one week old. White is not considered an approved colour by TICA, so white Savannahs cannot be shown at this time. See our Savannah kittens page for more pictures. Other Rare Colours: We have more melanistic Savannahs born (see picture left of Hadrian for a magnificent example of a top quality melanistic boy!). Pictures will soon be published on our kittens page. |
