Teardrops Savannahs and A1Savannahs have teamed up to provide a free paperwork checking service for UK Savannah purchasers - whether you are a breeder, or a pet owner. We are unable to check paperwork for other catteries, but if you have an A1Savannahs cat in your lines we will be happy to look at your pedigree to ensure that the cat has the correct ancestors. If the cat you are buying is understood to have come directly from A1Savannahs into the country we can check to ensure the cat offered can be traced back to A1Savannahs.

We offer this service whereever you buy the cat from in the country. We will need to see where the cat is being advertised and the paperwork that is being sold with the cat. Obviously we will not give out information about what should be present in the pedigree.

Already cats that have arrived during 2008 are being advertised as early generation cats when in fact A1Savannahs have not shipped any cat earlier than an F5 into the UK. Not only is this illegal and unethical, it is also extremely harmful to the breed. This service has been set up to combat pedigree and paperwork fraud and protect the integrity of the breed.
